He was a teacher that was loved by mainly all students at Snow Hill School. Mr. Terupt, was that one teacher we’ve always had/remembered where they’ve helped you in a way in school. They start to place your mindset to better things, and start making you understand life lessons that occur in life. It was a great book to visualize and capture what the author, Rob Buyea tried to explain throughout his book. This book is told in seven point of views. They’re told by Peter, Jessica, Luke, Alexia, Jeffrey, Daniella and Anna. All of them don’t really look forward to going to school. They all have their own stories and things to put up with. “Everybody dies, dudes and dudettes.” This is a quote that was mentioned by Hollis Seamon in the teen fiction book she wrote, Somebody Up There Hates You. This quote really connects to mostly the whole moral of the story. We all one day are not going to be here, and it just makes you realize that everyday of your life should be lived to the fullest because you never know when it’s going to be the last day for you. As I was walking with my friends, Osvaldo and Jonathan to gym class today, our principal yelled, “ANTHONY, JONATHAN AND OSVALDO COME HERE!” We walked towards her and she questioned us “Why are you guys still up here, when everybody is at class?” I answered “We all wait for each other, we stick together.” As I said those words, there was one face expression that appeared to be shown. Those were the words, I don’t care written all over it. She then said “If I don’t see you guys in gym class and all dressed up in the next 30 seconds, I’m gonna have to give you guys fouls.” We then all said “Okay” and walked back calmly, until we noticed that she actually started counting down, “29, 28, 27...” And she made us start sprinting to gym class and get ready rapidly.

“Resilience is accepting your new reality, even if it’s less good than the one you had before. You can fight it, you can do nothing but scream about what you’ve lost or you can accept that and try to put something together that’s good”. This is the one word I chose for 2018, which is resilience. This is a word that I feel can motivate and help me accomplish most of my goals in this new happy year. It represents and describes everything I need in order to achieve the goals I have. I chose this word because throughout the most rough times I will have this year, I want something that I could just think of to motivate me and make me grow stronger as a person. The three main aspects of my life I would really want to use this word for is my family, sports and school aspects. This year if any negative thing were to occur in my family, I would just try to be strong and try to make my word motivate me to its fullest ability.
